This has been a long journey. My first CD and what a challenge of getting it out of the gate. I could list the all the things that go wrong in the process, but, that would be mundane futile, and a waste of creative energy. Instead, I'm focusing on the end. :)

I currently have 10 original songs in the box along with 4 cover songs. Here's the track list so far. This may or may not be the order on the final product.

All songs have been recorded and now I'm in the process of mixing them down and preparing them for Mastering. Then it's off to the duplication company and distribution company I've signed up with. "In My World" will be available as a digital download or physical CD both available online and Cds at my live shows.

On Saturday September 29th, I performed for the Payton Wright Foundation's 2nd Annual Gala. I've been involved with the Wright families events for the past 4 years. I'm honored to know them and grateful to help in any way that I can. The Wrights are t tremendous people who have turned a tragedy of losing their daughter into a mission and a legacy for pediatric cancer. Last year and this year, and most likely the following Gala’s, renowned artist Michael Israel, brought his dynamic live art show to the center stage. He brings an energy of unselfish love and contribution to the foundation, and dazzles the audience with imagination, creativity and awe. Here in this video, you will see his final painting of the evening at this years event. “Payton’s Vision”

 I'm just finishing up the final stages of production on my songs for the CD titled: "In My World".  The first track that starts playing on this website audio player at the bottom of this browser is the title track.  Please play through them and enjoy.  This week I will be contacting the mastering and duplication company for completion of this product.  I'm very excited to share it.  But, in the meantime, you can hear all of the tracks right here on this sites audio player.  Scott Curts Website

 A dear friend of mine asked me to perform for his 20th Anniversary.  What was unique about this occasion?  It was a surpise for his wife.  After a long day of treatments to a spa and hanging with friends she came home to a house filled with more friends and family waiting for her arrival, with her husband and 3 boys waiting outside, boys bearing gifts of flowers, me with my guitar ready to sing for them,  while he proposed to his wife of 20 years to marry him again. 

After many years of performing in a wide array of genres and styles of music, from Lounge Jazz, Standard Straight Ahead, to Blues Bands, to R&B, Hip Hop, Dance, Top 40, Latin, Classic Rock, Alternative.. . . You name it I've covered it.

I've reached a new place in my musical life that allows me to be creative and write. So, now I'm doing it. I'm letting it go and putting all my cards on my table. After studying composition in College over 20 years ago to playing in cover bands, it's time to put my music out there.

Where will I go with this? Who knows? Does it matter? Who cares? :) One has to follow their heart and soul or they die with their music inside them.

Stay tuned while I continue to work on my music. I have 10 original songs in the works and plan on sharing a couple cover tunes. . .(just can't give up those covers) . . 
